ABOUT HP HIGH PRESSURE
HP HIGH PRESSURE Srl was established in 1994 from a branch of the firm OMELF.
In 1982 OMELF started to manufacture its first stainless steel AISI 316 pump head for high pressure pumps (the same ones HP puts on its system today) for applications in the nautical field and pharmaceutical .
The construction is not limited to the nautical field, there were also production of the High Pressure vessels in AISI 316 and other details as non-seizing and re-usable high pressure tube joints.
Between 1989 and 1991 OMELF invested its profits in the purchasing of Computerised Numerical Control (CNC) tool machines that made production faster and elevated the grade and precision of the details.
From 1991 OMELF started to avail itself of the assistance of AUTOCAD. From here the step to their desalting water systems was short......
In 1993 with the creation of a new firm HP High Pressure came the first prototypes and in 1994 the limits were fixed. The new firm, born of OMELF group can rely both on the technical assistance of the OMELF Group, and on the years of experience of the most important partner, Luciano Zucco and his son Gianni, Managing director since 1998.
For HP HIGH PRESSURE Srl to get to know its own products became fundamental with its own name that has been always covered under other trade-marks.
So the HP HIGH PRESSURE Srl does not limit itself in gathering components bought here and there, but it follows its products from the design up to the client assistance thanks to an assistance network. So satisfying the customers in each and every single requirement becomes an essential reason for a manufacturer firm such as HP.
It is not the case that the HP SUPER COMPACT watermakers are not only modular to take advantage of the space needed (always limited on the boats) but can also be manufactured in a compact and in measure way with an original design that can be studied and designed with the customer.
In 1995 HP HIGH PRESSURE Srl opened the doors in the nautical field, attending the European Boat shows (GENOVA - AMSTERDAM - CANNES), having the first success with the private buyers.
In 1997 HP High Pressure Srl launches another watermaker model, The "V SERIES". A compact vertically configured watermaker, with a production range between 70 and 180 Lt/h. These models are designed, to reduce to the maximum the "footprint" of the installation the watermaker ( for example into a forepeak.
In the same year HP patented the Automatic Washing Valve for the cleaning of the membranes (HP VAL) that allows the fresh water washing of the membranes every time the plant is stopped, without a procedure dedicated to the washing it operates hydraulically and automatically.
1997 is also the year in which HP HIGH PRESSURE Srl commenced supplying to important yacht producers like CANTIERI NAUTICI DALLA PIETA' and CANTIERE NAUTICO VZ.
In 1998 began a collaboration with
SMB SEYCHELLES MARKETING BOARD
for the production of plant of medium size for the treatment of the brackish
water.
In 1999 other important yacht yards like
CANTIERI LIGURI DI RIVA TRIGOSO, MAXI DOLPHIN began installing HP watermakers.
At the end of 1999 the patent was deposited for
an AUTOMATIC PRESSURE REGULATION VALVE and more important a combined
system WATERMAKER AND CURRENT GENERATOR called
CAMEL DUAL
POWER
that allows to save space, weight, investment and maintenance.
Since 1999 HP HIGH PRESSURE Riviera has been operating in the city centre of Alassio (Italian Riviera) this will be used as reference point for the customers in MONACO and for the Italian and French customers on the Riviera.
